Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - a Canadian as well as an American artist and singer. She's released over 20 albums. DiFranco's songs are classified as alternative and folk. However, they also are influenced by hip-hop, jazz and punk. Ani DiFranco was the very first musician to start her own record company in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons.
